Buying a Beer Fridge

If you like to drink a nice beer after you get off work and don't want to worry whether or not there is any cold from the fridge, than you need a beer fridge to keep all of your favorite beers nice and cold. They are great for parties, when you are by yourself, or if you just want to relax and know that your favorite beer is close by you.

There are many different things to consider when buying a beer fridge. How many beers do you want to keep cold at one time? How cold do you want your beers to stay? What cooling method are you interested in for your beer fridge? What type of design and style do you want your fridge to have? When you figure out the answers to these questions, you are ready to make your decision and choose the fridge that is right for you.

If you want your beers close by you and there are no outlets near your favorite chair, you can get a fridge that is battery operated and portable so it will never leave your side.

These are also great for tailgate parties when you don't want to go the traditional route of using a cooler with the messy ice that's going to melt in a few hours anyway. It is also an easier way to store your beer because you don't have to go through the trouble of re-stocking a cooler with ice every few hours.

A beer fridge is really a fun thing to have around, especially if you like to throw parties. You can get one that looks like a vending machine, or that has the logo of your favorite beer imprinted on the side of it if you want it to look like a gas station beer stand. Either way, there are several ways to make buying a fridge fun and exciting.

Click n order beer fridge

Beer needs to be chilled differently from the other food in your fridge, at a certain temperature for it to have that particular ‘chilled beer’ effect.

For appearances sake!

It is indeed very clumsy and sometimes not possible to store beer cans and bottles that come in various sizes inside your regular fridge. Beer Fridges, however, are designed for these particular sizes and the ease of use that comes with Beer Fridges can never be there with a regular fridge. Though it may not be a huge incentive to some, there surely is a neat premium effect in being able to show off Beer Fridges in your home or elsewhere, and offer a can of chilled beer straight from a paneled glass door that most Beer Fridges would come equipped with!

Types of Beer Fridges

Beer Fridges come in different types.

The most common type is the glass door Beer Fridges. While these are ideal for bars and restaurants as the cans and bottles are visible from outside, they look great in your home too!

Mini Beer Fridges are very handy, placed in corners and shelves; they are great for short storage. Six can Beer Fridges are another very popular type as they are easily portable, and work even on 12-V power, making them usable in your car. During that hot summer, nothing can beat having a six canner in your car, so that you can literally ‘chill out’ from time to time!

Things to look for while buying

It helps to remember a few tips before buying Beer Fridges.

Two zones cooling would be preferable to separate low and high gravity beers. Movable shelves are also handy to be able to store different sizes. Shaded glass on the outside would be better, as beers are not meant to be exposed to harsh light. And, of course, a lock on the fridge always helps!

Apart from the above, a look at the capacity, colors, power requirements, finishes, etc, are always mandatory while buying any product. And not to forget, whether it fits in the budget!

How to Buy the Best Beer Fridge?

A mini bar in your home is incomplete without a beer fridge. Most kinds of beer taste better if they are chilled to a certain temperature. Therefore, beer fridges are a great addition to your home to ensure that your guests are treated to some chilled beer anytime. Beer fridges are completely different from regular kitchen refrigerators in many ways, such as design, dimension and temperature settings. It may not be a very good idea to crowd your regular refrigerator with bottles of beer. Even if you did, you may not be able to store beer bottles and cans the way they need to be stored. Therefore, investing in a beer fridge is a great idea to give your beer cans and bottles the perfect storage space and the exact temperature to enhance the taste of your beer.

Different Kinds of Beer Fridges:

Glass Door Beer Fridges: are ideal for use in bars and restaurants. The transparent door allows full view of the different kinds of beers stored in the fridge. However, you can also use it in your home, since they are quite attractive and you will be able to replenish your beer fridge when you are running low on your beer supply.
Mini Beer Fridges: are small in appearance and size and are also much cheaper compared to glass door beer fridges.
Six Can Mini Beer Fridges: are small portable beer fridges with 12V power and holds six beer cans. Its portability feature makes it perfect for picnics, camping and travelling.

Things to Consider Before Buying Beer Fridges:

Beer Fridges are good investment if you are used to hosting parties on a regular basis.

Beer fridges are designed to provide the right storage and temperature for beer. While these can be placed in your mini bar, the portable beer fridges can be carried along in the car or moved to the garden. Keep in mind the following factors while buying beer fridges
Capacity
Type
Temperature options
Noise
Additional features
Colour and finish
Budget

Tips for Buying the Perfect Beer Fridge:

Buy two zone cooling beer fridges to help you store high gravity and low gravity beers appropriately in order to get the best taste.
Buy beer fridges with customizable/removable or adjustable shelves to store different sized beer bottles.
Choose an opaque or smoked glass door beer fridge, since beers exposed to light spoil faster.
Buy a beer fridge with lock, especially if you have toddlers and kids at home.
