Gorenje Retro Fridge : Proving Better Performance

Gorenje retro fridge is one of the most popular refrigerators available in the market in recent terms. Although we have all experienced the electric refrigerators which exist in every house these days, but there are some other techniques used to freeze food and beverages prior to the invention of the electronic refrigerators.

This technique used a large wooden box in which huge cubes of ice were placed in order to make the inside food cold. And then the items of foods and beverages were placed inside the box and the lid used for closing. This made the items remain cold for quite some hours. There was also an ice tray placed just beneath the ice cubes. This helped in collecting all the water that got generated while the ice melted.

After the tray was filled up, the water was poured into the sink or wash basins.

During the early 20th century, the first electronic refrigerator was invented while using this technology of the water tray. The refrigerator was attached on top of these ice trays in order to collect the water generated from the melting of ice. However, during the year of 1925, the cooling coil based electronic refrigerator came to the market. And since then, it has been an immensely popular item in every kitchen household.

The retro fridge concept have been evolved in the market in the last two three years or so. The looks of the refrigerators that were there during the early part of the 20th century are recreated to provide for a unique appearance. However, the functionality remains the same as it is with every modernized refrigerator systems.
